Hancom Lifecare Inc. traces its roots to 1971 when SanCheong Co., Ltd. was established in Korea. Over five decades, the company grew from a regional PPE manufacturer into Korea's leading developer of CBRN defense systems, firefighting apparatus, and — most recently — dedicated EV fire suppression solutions under the ELEKTIGER brand.

In 2017, SanCheong was acquired by Hancom Group, one of Korea's leading software and technology conglomerates. The company was formally renamed Hancom Lifecare Inc. in 2019, combining Hancom's technological innovation with SanCheong's deep PPE manufacturing heritage.

Today, Hancom Lifecare holds Designated Defense Company status from Korea's Ministry of National Defense, and its products — including the K10 gas mask validated to NATO Triptych D103 — are trusted by defense forces in more than 30 countries.
